     The Czech skicross season is up and running.  Hipp Hipp Hooray...now lets pray for snow.

     The official plan is to have races within races within races, so there is sure to be some racing racing racing.  Just wax them babies, shine your buckles, duck tape your boots, and clean up your googles because the Czech skicrossers will be doing the same.  yeaahaww yippey kayeah mofo.

EC Grassgehren and WC San Candido

Grassgehren, the holder of the 1st round of the 2009/2010 Europa Cup, is a little low on the white fluffy stuff.  They have announced that the event might have to be moved to Austria.

San Candido, the holder of the 1st round of the 2009/2010 World Cup, is hurting for certain when it comes to the fluffy white stuff too.

Everyone should whip out their snow beads and do a little rubbing.  Just to keep you on your toes.  The Czech skicross team has already entered 4 racers.  You will have to guess who they are.   hahahaha

EC SX Grassgehren is cancelled

Due to the warm weather till now and the forecast for the next 5 days with warm weather, even with some snow coming through today and tomorrow, the organizing committee of the Ski Cross Europa Cup and FIS German Championship had to take the decision to cancel the race. It is not be possible to guarantee an Europa Cup level Ski Cross course.

Sun Valley qualification won Tomas Kraus

 Tomas Kraus won the Qualification of the JEEP king of the Mountain final Tour in Sun Valley. He took the first place before Del Bosco (CAN) and Errol Kerr (USA). Final is taking place on saturday and he´s having chance to brake the last two second places total from the last two years and wins. 

FIS World Cup skicross series continues

The Czech Skicross Team is ready to race.

With two FIS World Cup skicross events this coming week in Switzerland at Grindelwaldu a Meiringenu, the Czech skicross team is all jacked up to lay down some fast runs.

Tomáš Kraus is looking forward to winning another crystal globe at Grindelwaldu, where in 2005 he won his first crystal globe.

The Czech Skicross Team will take 8 racers to the events, the maximum allowable.  Unfortuanately due to injury and illness Honza Kopřiva and Petr Takáč will not be able to compete.  The Czech team will be Zdenda Šafář, Honza Soukup, Kuba Kopřiva, Čenda Hončl, Kuba Kučera, Radek Čermák, and Ondra Krupa.

Sierra Nevada Spain - Spain FIS race

Sierra Nevada , Saturday .

Zdenek Safar finished third at the FIS Andalusian SkiCross Championship event, but probably would have finished better. 

There was a problem with the starting gate before the small final and the final. It could not be corrected in time, so the jury had to proclaim the final results according to the racers qualification times. 

Czech Cup at Velka Upa cancelled...

 The Czech Cup at Velka Upa has been cancelled...

Due to weather and bad snow conditions the Czech Cup skicross event at Velka Upa has been cancelled indefinitely.  Pray for snow.

Tomáš Kraus wins in Železná Ruda at Samoty

Tomáš Kraus (CZE) won the first round of the Czech Cup skicross series at the Šumava ski resort Samoty in Železna Ruda on Saturday.

Sundays winner was Radek Čermak (CZE).

New date for the Czech Cup Skicross Series!!!!

Tomáš Kraus wins at Squaw Valley JKOTM series.

Tomáš Kraus (CZE) wins at the Olympic Valley resort, Squaw Valley.  He fought back another attack from Casey Puckett (USA)  in the final to finish in 1st position, making him the JKOTM series points leader.  Tomáš will be wearing the famed black dress for the final event of the series at Sun Valley, Idaho scheduled to be held next month.

Czech Cup in Dolni Morava cancelled

Due to snow conditions, the Czech Cup skicross events at Dolni Morava scheduled for the 9th February and 10th of February have been cancelled. 

Europa Cup in Sudelfeld rescheduled

The FIS Europa Cup to be held in Sudelfeld GERMANY has been rescheduled due to snow conditions.  The new date will be March 16th, 2008 -  view .
