World Cup Skicross at San Candido, Italy

Well welcome back to skicross race fans.  We are back in business, and the Fun Club is once again dominating the skicross action.  With thrills and spills, nail extensions, and toppled champions the introductory World Cup Skicross events, in the exquisitely breathtaking Italian Alps, did not dissapoint.

The great Tomáš Kraus, from the Czech Republic, was in superb form for the start of the 2010/2011 FIS World Cup Skicross season.  The videos below show the superstar of skicross, "TK", flying fast and hard at the double header World Cup Skicross event held at San Candido, Italy last weekend.  Unfortunately he didn´t cleanly holeshot the quarter final, and flew a little bit too fast and too hard.  As a result the renowned skicrosser took a powder sample the World Cup way.  As my grandma used to say, "Nothing like a mouthful of FIS World Cup Skicross powder to awaken the sleeping giant within".

The woman´s skicross event showed some twinkle and sparkle as the sexy World Champion, David Ophelie, was knuckled out of the big final of the World Cup Skicross event held at San Candido on the 18th of December with an extremely extreme photo finish.  Millimeters were all that seperated the competitors from the fame and fortune.  Fortunately for the Czech skicross team their governing body forbids manicures.

Way to go! to the Czech racer, Nikol Kučerová, showing the woman´s number one, and the entire world of skicross that she is all out of bubble gum.  Now put that in your tutu.
