World Cup St Johann

Simon " the Diamond" Stickl  has come out strong winning the first World Cup event of 2010.  The 3rd round of the current FIS World Cup of Skicross series, at the skicross capitol of Austria, St. Johann, has given the German freestyle team a good jolt of vibrant and much needed energetic energy and bone crushing confidence.

Night racing, man made ice snow, and the Austrian nightlife were not wild enough to distract the german skicross warrior.  He seemed to know, even before the start, that he was going to cross the final finish line first, and he did so in typical hardcore, balls to the wall, sticky Stickl fashion.

The final event gave the world of skicross a chance to see the superstars of superstars battle it out under the stars.  Even without the World Champion of skicross, Tomáš Kraus, who didn´t fair as well, nobody left without fun filled memories of good times.

Now the skicross world will travel west to battle it out in the French Alps, where the cheese rocks and the skicross women know how to fly.
